The Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council Limited (AFAC) has entered into a partnership with the Australian Red Cross (ARC) to form the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience (AIDR).  The partnership has agreed that for general business AIDR is to be an operating division of AFAC.  On behalf of AIDR, AFAC has contracted with the Australian Government through the National Emergency Management Agency for the delivery of a range of products and services.

AIDR's professional development event terms and conditions

Professional development events organised by AIDR are subject to terms and conditions. They are outlined in the Event terms and conditions policy managed by AFAC. The policy document contains information about pricing and payment, registration calculation, transferring registration to a colleague, changes to the event and communication with registrants.

Privacy Statement

AFAC's privacy policy supports and endorses state and territory as well as national privacy regimes. We will only collect personal information from you with your prior knowledge and consent. You can access our website home page and browse our site without disclosing personal information.

AIDR websites may use cookies in some areas. A cookie is a block of data that is shared between a web server and a user's browser. Cookies give the server information about a user's identity, preferences or past behaviour.
